The Graduate Program in Endocrinology at the School of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024, being the only stricto sensu Graduate Program in Endocrinology in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

The Program is well-established within the National Postgraduate System, consistently receiving a grade 5 in all recent evaluations by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).

To date, the Graduate Program in Endocrinology at UFRJ has conferred degrees to over 380 Masters and 160 Doctors who are active in various public and private institutions in Brazil and abroad.

Our Program represents the convergence of academic activities of faculty, students, and collaborators dedicated to developing research lines in the basic, clinical, and translational areas of Endocrinology.
