Meetings on the Care of Patients with Turner Syndrome promoted by the Outpatient Clinic of the Institute of Puericulture and Pediatrics Martagão Gesteira (IPPMG-UFRJ) will continue throughout 2025. The meetings, held every two months, include the participation of patients, family members, healthcare professionals, and students interested in the topic.
The team responsible for the meetings consists of PhD candidates Isla Paiva and Karinne Mafort, under the coordination of Professor Marilia Martins Guimarães. The next meeting is scheduled for April 2 and will address cardiological complications in patients with the syndrome, as well as the care recommendations outlined in the new Clinical Care Guide for Patients with Turner Syndrome. The Cardiology team from IPPMG will participate in the discussion.
The meetings will continue to take place on the first Wednesday of even-numbered months, with scheduled dates as follows: April 2, June 4, August 13, October 1, and December 3.
